Dear Student Clubs,
I wanted to wish everyone good luck with all of their final exams, papers, and projects! I also wanted to let you know about some tabling opportunities available to you this summer to help connect with new students and to let them know about your club! This year our New Student Orientations will be broken up into 8 sessions with a maximum cap of 150 new students. This gives us the chance to give more attention and support to our new students. Tabling will be similar this year as to years past, with it occurring during the lunch period. Tabling will be outside by the University Grill if weather permits, and in the Fireside room if it rains. Space will be tight if we have to move inside and only clubs who RSVP beforehand will be guaranteed a spot. Please keep your tabling numbers to three maximum. Here are the dates for the New Student Orientations:

We are going to try something new for our NSO tabling sessions. Many of you have seen celebrity lip synching battles done on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and the new show by LL Cool J. We thought it would give clubs a chance to participate in a lip sync battle to show off and have fun! If your club would like, you can have a member or up to three members submit a song that they will lip sync too during the tabling for other groups to see and our new students. We want you to be creative, have fun, and show school spirit. Remember, we will have new students and family members of all ages at the sessions so dont forget to appeal to them to! When you RSVP, let me know which song you would like to lip sync to. If its an obscure song, you may have to bring a digital copy to play during the time. We will use radio friendly version of all songs, so you know which one to practice with.
One last note. Sometime this summer, we will no longer be using MyInvolvement. We will be switching to a new program. Please keep a look out in your email and on the Daily Titan to see when we will switch. You will have to register your club with the new program.
If you have any questions, please let me know. I hope your summer goes well and look forward to seeing many of you at orientation!
